Resources For Christmas

After a brief hiatus and our original group moving in a new direction, we have re-established our Christmas program for our local families to get the help that they need.

Our History With Christmas Miracles

Since 2013, we have been a part of a huge blessing to the Venice area with our Christmas Present Drive. We have been amazed at the outpouring of love and joy that comes from both our miracle workers who are bringing presents for these kids, and the families who are receiving them. Each year we were also amazed at the number of previous families that received help that became miracles to other families!

One thing that sets us apart from other programs is that we do our best to get to know a little something about the children so that they are receiving gifts that they wished for. We also love that many of our families will choose to share photos from Christmas morning with either just their miracle worker or with our whole community. None of this would be possible without the support we receive from the local people of Venice and the small businesses that coordinate toy drives and fundraisers with us.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Are you a tax-deductible organization?

No, we are not a 501c3. We are simply a group of moms trying to make a difference in our community.

How Do You Qualify Families To Receive Help?

Parents/Caregivers are not required to show proof of anything other than who they are and that the children are theirs in order to receive assistance. Most of these families we have known for years because of this program. We believe that it is hard enough to ask for help, making parents prove that they need it can cause more harm and that is not what we want. Our philosophy is always "It is not our place to judge who needs help. It is our job to lift the fallen, restore the broken and heal the hurting."

What amount should be spent on each child?

Because the size/value of the gifts can vary greatly based on what each child is hoping for, we don't have a suggested gift amount. We simply ask that if you choose to help a family, try to make it fair for all the siblings.

Should The Gifts Be Wrapped?

Instead of wrapping the gifts, please drop off gifts in a black trash bag with a tag for which child the gifts are for. You are welcome to include gift wrap for the parents. We want to give the parents the ability to see what their child will be opening on Christmas and give them the joy of being able to wrap it themselves.

Thank You To Local Businesses Who Have Continuously Supported Our Efforts.
