We also offer baby food,cereal, and formula, along with one package of diapers, per child, once every four weeks. May be able to support new parents with brand new car seats.

Building Strong Families Homelessness Prevention program provides case management, counseling and cash assistance to families at-risk of becoming homeless, with the goal of emotional and financial stability and self-sufficiency.
Food Pantry distributes canned goods and food vouchers
Healthy Families/Healthy Children provides communication and parenting skill building group classes and in home support services to certain individuals.
Healthy Fathers/Healthy Families Initiative
Operation Military Assistance Program offers financial assistance to very low-income veterans and their families who are homeless or who are about to become homeless to enable them to obtain or maintain stable, permanent housing.

Single Mothers Program - 2nd Chance/Last Opportunity

Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center, Inc. (SPARCC) was formed as a non-profit agency in 1979. SPARCC is the only state-certified center for domestic violence and sexual assault services for Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. All of SPARCC’s services are free and confidential. In addition to serving victims, SPARCC is actively engaged in promoting social change through community awareness and education, in an effort to prevent such violence in the future. SPARCC serves its clients through an Outreach Center in downtown Sarasota, satellite offices in south Sarasota and DeSoto Counties, a shelter operating 24 hours a day/365 days a year and at the local courthouse
